1. Maximum Ventilation (Cross-Ventilation is King)

- Doors at Both Ends: When shopping for a greenhouse, choose a model that features doors or large screened openings at both ends. On hot days, keep them wide open 24/7.
- Automatic Roof Vents: Invest in solar-powered or wax-cylinder automatic vent openers. They operate without electricity - as the temperature rises, the liquid inside the cylinder expands and mechanically pushes the ridge vents open.
- Roll-Up Sidewalls: A favorite solution in southern regions is a greenhouse with sides that roll up completely, leaving only a fine insect mesh to keep pests out while letting the breeze through.
2. Shade Cloth - Your Best Friend
